The Wyndham Inclusion dinner, hosted by Comfort Care Foundation Inc, is an evening to bring community members together to celebrate diversity and the efforts that make Wyndham more inclusive.

Comfort Care will be holding our 1st Annual Fundraising Dinner on FridaySeptember 17th 2021, an evening to bring community members together to celebrate diversity and the efforts that make Wyndham more inclusive. A Fundraiser and Award Night to honor and recognise Wyndham's champions in inclusivity and diversity.

Join us for an evening of cultural performances, networking, and an opportunity to share a meal with fellow advocates of diversity and inclusion.

 

All proceeds from the Wyndham Inclusion Dinner will support the Comfort Care Foundation Feed the Needy food program.

NOMINATE A BUSINESS

NOMINATION CRITERIA

The nomination should provide an overview of how the nominee reflects the values of diversity and inclusion.

 Diversity means understanding that everyone is unique and recognising our differences. These can be along the dimensions of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, political beliefs, or other ideologies. 

 

Inclusion means that all people, regardless of their abilities, disabilities, or health care needs, have the right to be respected and appreciated as valuable members of their communities.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

 

Nominees should be employed full-time or part-time; This may include permanent staff or long-term temporary employees. Sole traders are also eligible for the award.

 

Nominations must provide specific examples of how the nominee has expressed high regard to diversity and inclusion through a combination of the following:

  • Initiated efforts to support the inclusion of all people.

  • Displayed effective cross-cultural collaborations.

  • Aligned their decisions and actions with their workplace’s values of showing respect for all people.

  • In any instance, the nominee went above and beyond for effective cross-cultural collaborations.

  • Vision and strategy - The extent to which the company’s actions and activities have or will show a clear vision and strategy to tackle problems faced by people in terms of inclusion and Diversity

  • Innovation - The extent to which the company’s actions and activities have or will bring innovative ideas. Diversity is a critical component of bringing out innovation

  • Leadership - The extent to which the company’s actions and activities prove or will prove to be a leader and take appropriate steps

  • Impact and outcomes - The extent to which the company’s actions and activities prove to have a significant impact on the community in terms of inclusion and Diversity

  • Awareness - The extent to which the company’s actions and activities have contributed to raising awareness and consciousness about Diversity and inclusion in the area

  • Community and collaboration - The extent to which the company’s actions and activities shows community collaboration and promotes Inclusion and Diversity

  • Making a bigger difference - The extent to which the company’s actions and activities prove to make a difference in people’s lives
